I hope you've been enjoying my videos, I had fun making them.
Here are a couple more.
Bond keyplates:
Home made Bond cast on comb and needle pushers:
I have one more that I want to make this week, how to do a cut and sew neckline. (I haven't forgotten about you, Samantha)
There may not be any more for a while after that one - my poor little camcorder is exhausted!
Talk to you later,
Susan.

Just wanted to say I'm enjoying your "BOND" videos and comments. :) Thanks!

I'll second Susies1955, the time and effort you've spent making videos illustrating machine knitting techniques is highly appreciated.
Since you like making things, here's a suggestion: The Bond row counter's blocky shape has a habit of catching the yarn as the carriage slides by. A piece of 1/8"(3MM)wire can be bent to form a guide that lifts the yarn up over the row counter, eliminating the need to prepetually do so by hand. The shape is simple, the wire runs parallel to the top on the row counter for it's length, then angles down (not straight down, somewhere between 45 and 60 degrees so it's wider at the bottom) to the table behind the needle bed. The ends of the wire then make a sharp 90 degree bend under the needle bed. The needle bed will hold it in place, and the yarn will rarely if ever hang up on the row counter with the guide in place.
Thanks for the idea, race city knitter. I don't often get my yarn cought up on the row counter as I usually let it run through my left hand while I move the carriage with my right hand. Maybe if I made the guide I wouldn't have to do that.
